THE NEW MOON

The New Moon determines the beginning of a month according to the Bible,Psalms 81:3 &; Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed,on our solemn feast day”.Vs 4- For this was a statute for Israel, and a law ofthe God of Jacob.

Psalms 104:19 , "He appointed the moon for seasons:". When the dark sideof the moon is facing toward the earth the New Moon has begun. The NewMoon for the children of Israel is to be observed as a High Holy day/Sabbathday- On the New Moon the Israelites are allowed to Feast/cook. As long asthe New Moon does not fall on the Lords weekly Sabbath day.
