The Feast of tabernacles/ Feast of Booths and the Feast of ingathering is thecommon titles pertaining to this feast. This feast commemorates when theLORD brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and the nation had to dwell inbooths in the wilderness.
Deuteronomy 16:13- Thou shalt observe the Feast of Tabernacles sevendays, after thou hast gathered in thy corn and wine.Leviticus 23:34 " Speak unto the children of Israel, The fifteenth day of thisseventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days unto theLord". This feast is an eight day feast of rejoicing with the first and eighth daybeing Sabbaths.
